I am a bit late getting my news out this month. I am in the midst of packing up my current apartment here in Brooklyn and moving to another. It is always such an interesting thing to start going through papers, old clippings and finding pictures I thought I had lost. I have so many new song ideas brewing, I can hardly wait to get them down! Because of my impending move, I don't have any shows this month, but I am in the midst of booking lots of shows for the rest of the year, so check out my calendar page at megbraun.com regularly to see what I am up to!
In March I have three shows I am super excited about. The first, on March 1, I have the honor of opening for one of the best songwriters and performers I know, the incredible Vance Gilbert.
On March 17, I return to Providence, RI for a feature at Brooklyn Coffee and Tea. Yes, it will be a Brooklyn night in Rhode Island!
Finally, on March 30, I will be sharing the stage with some of the very best women singer/songwriters (who also happen to be my friends) and we will recreate Joni Mitchell's "Blue" album once again--this time at Outpost in the Burbs, in Montclair, NJ.
Speaking of "Blue", I am thrilled to report that we are recording it! I am not sure exactly when it will be ready for purchase, but I go into the studio to record "River" on March 3! Stay tuned for details!
